Wedding rings for traditionalists
On the wedding day, wear your engagement ring on your right hand so the groom can place the wedding band at the base of the finger, closest to your heart. The wedding ring remains worn the closest to your heart, and the engagement ring is placed back on the ring finger. Traditionally the eternity ring will seal this, after a year of marriage, or your first born.
Do your wedding rings your way
Following tradition is not for everyone! Some couples choose to pay no attention to ring etiquette, and prefer to infuse their own style into wedding ring styles and ring placement. Have them combined in one ring, wear your rings layered on both hands or stack and style – it’s completely up to you!
